somewhere, there sits a portrait of the horizon, with our lives cropped out of it. i was searching for some peace of mind, but all that i could seem to find, was nothing to come out of it. ain't it funny how life fails to inform you of the cracks in the road, or that you took the wrong way home? i've walked this path for so long. can i find my way back to the place promised in our early days? and something should go right here, but i don't know what to say. and something else should be right here, but i don't know what to say. tomorrow's over, it's gone & done with. i'm right here, regretting the past until my mind is broken. a piece of me dies. holding my breath, waiting for you to drop a line. you're not coming back. why can't i keep anything intact?
